One of the things I appreciate most about our organization is the care I see every day, for our members, for each other, and for the work we do. That care is what makes us strong. And it’s also what will continue to move us forward.
I am compelled to write this blog and to share with you how an ordinary Tuesday turned into a moment of inspiration and appreciation – all driven by a small group of employees who have come together to improve how we do business.
Reflecting on 2025, I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together during a truly transformational year for CommonWealth Central Credit Union. We closed the year in a position of strength - financially, operationally, and strategically - by staying disciplined, focused, and united around our mission.
Every interaction our members have with us tells a part of their story. At CommonWealth, we’re committed to being a part of their story in every stage of their financial journey. To do that well, we need a deep understanding of what members experience—what works, what doesn’t, and where small moments make a big difference.
The results are in from our recent employee Financial Health survey! While we fell short of reaching our goal of 90% participation (we achieved 87%), we did surpass last year’s participation rate of 84% and we’d like to celebrate with lunch!

The heart of our mission is to build lasting financial health for everyone. We really mean everyone: not just our members, but you—our employees—too. In this spirit, we are excited to launch our annual financial health survey for the second year in a row. The survey is similar to the financial health survey we will be launching to our members later this month.

I couldn’t be prouder to share the news that our core conversion has been a complete success! This milestone represents the culmination of countless hours of planning, preparation, collaboration, and hard work from every corner of our organization.
The moment we’ve all been preparing for is finally here—Core Conversion Weekend is upon us! Starting Friday evening, we’ll begin the transition to our new core platform, Jack Henry Symitar.
